August 2007: Amalgam have been appointed by BuildStore as designers for The National Self Build and Renovation Centre. Swindon.

June 2007: Amalgam designs new West End Restaurant
Amalgam have just completed the design of a new restaurant in Londons West End. Vanilla in Great Titchfield Street is designed on a black and white theme. The bar is all white having white floors, walls, curtains and furniture. The Restaurant has black floors and white furniture. Vanilla opens in early July. May 2007: Amalgam designs Information Centre for Grand Arcade Cambridge
A new Information Centre designed by Amalgam has just opened in Cambridge. It  provides an opportunity for local people to find out about Grosvenors' major retail development, due to open in Spring 2008, and features a scale model of Grand Arcade, archaeological artefacts, community art displays and presentation facilities. Oct 2007: A new British Council HQ & Conference Centre opens in Berlin.
The new Centre is located in Alexanderplatz, at the heart of Berlin. It houses a conference suite, business lounge as well as office accommodation for 30 staff and drop-in / networking facilities for British Council staff and partners from across Europe. For more information contact Ian Gunter.

April 2007: Amalgam appointed by LloydsTSB
Amalgam have been appointed in a design and build capacity with contractors ISG Interior Exterior on a 70,000 square foot building refurbishment in the City of London. The project is due to complete in December 2007.For more information please contact Mark Simpson

February 2007: Amalgam design first store for designer jewellery brand Carolina Bucci
We are currently working on a new Jewellery Store for upmarket jewellery brand Carolina Bucci. The 500sq ft boutique will open in Knightsbridge this spring.

Carolina's unique designs have featured in the fashion press and are sold across the world in top stores such as Browns, Matthew Williamson, and Neiman Marcus and are worn by A list celebrities. For more information contact Mark Simpson

May 2007 : Amalgam appointed as design consultants for 12 Yard productions new BBC2 Design show.

January 2007 : Amalgam appointed to redesign Unipath's Research & Development Centre.
Unipath are expanding the R&D department in their Bedford HQ. The project will re-organise and refurbish approximately 17,000 sq.ft of space, to create a new working environment, conference rooms, a business lounge, laboratories and workshops for 140 staff. November 2006 : Bishops Avenue project on site

We are very pleased to have been appointed by the BBC for this high profile project and continue our ten year association with the corporation. The newsroom is an extremely busy 24/7 operation occupied by 70 staff.The project will enable the introduction of new working practices and technology as well as new meeting and break out spaces.
