Ian specialises in workplace design, branding and strategic space planning. He has worked extensively overseas, undertaking projects across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South and South East Asia.

His corporate clients include the British Council, DfID, the BDI, the Association for Consultancy and Engineering, ISS-Coflex, Unipath, Swiss Precision Diagnostics, Inverness Medical International, Alere, Concateno, MLS, Redpath, Hyder Consulting, HomeLet, Deacon Insurance, GeraldEve LLP, 12 Yard TV, Texel Finance ltd & the YMCA.

Prior to joining Amalgam in 1999, Ian spent nine years as Head of Architecture & Design at the British Council. He graduated from The Royal College of Art, MA (Architecture & Design).
